Dr Severin Cramm is a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Hildesheim, where he also studied History and German. He is currently working on a doctoral dissertation on the trade union policy in the process of European integration. His research focuses on the history of European integration, trade union history, the history of political extremism, and economic history in general.
He published an article in the German Journal for the History of the Labour Movement (‘Im Zeichen der europäischen Integration. Zur Rolle des DGB in den EGKS-Verhandlungen 1950/1951’, in Arbeit – Bewegung – Geschichte. Zeitschrift für historische Studien, May 2016) and co-edited two anthologies on the history of European integration: with Michael Gehler, Marcus Gonschor and Miriam Hetzel (eds.), Internationale Geschichte im globalen Wandel. Deutschland, Europa, Russland und die USA im Ost-West- und Nord-Süd-Kontext (Hildesheim 2018) and with Hinnerk Meyer, Michael Gehler
