Anita Ziegerhofer

Dr Anita Ziegerhofer is Associate Professor of Contemporary History, Vice-Head of the Institute of the Foundations of Law and Head of the Department of Legal History and the Development of European Law at the University of Graz. Her main research areas are the legal history of European integration, constitutional history, gender studies, the history of human rights under consideration of the rights of disabilities, and regional studies. She was a guest professor at the Department of History (Historical Seminar) at the University of Mainz from 2010-2014, at the Beyazid University Istanbul, and at the University of Batumi, Georgia. She is the chair of the faculty commission of the Faculty of Law; a member of the executive board of the coordination centre for gender studies; a member of the commission of Austrian legal history at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna; and a member of the European Society Coudenhove-Kalergi.
